Goal:
The member states of the UN wish to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDG’s). This process of developing SDG’s started in Rio 2012. At the Sustainable Development Summit in New York, Sept 2015 these will be formalized. These SDG’s cover a wide range of societal aspects and activities. Infrastructure development is one of these activities, which is considered to be of crucial importance for societies. However, the implementation of SDG’s has to be made practical so these can be applied in the field.
